There’s no dining area or customer-facing space. You cook, pack, and hand orders to delivery drivers who collect from the site. Customers order through platforms like Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Just Eat.
At Ready Kitchen, membership costs depend on the size of the unit and location. It’s significantly less than a traditional restaurant, and you avoid the upfront fit-out costs because the infrastructure is already installed. Utilities are metered separately and billed based on your usage.
Our delivery kitchens are designed for teams of up to four people, with enough space to prep, cook, pack, and hand off to drivers efficiently. Exact sizes vary by location, so it’s worth booking a viewing to see what’s available.
The infrastructure is installed and ready: commercial extraction, ventilation, natural gas with interlock system, three-phase electricity, industrial hot water, prep sink, hand wash basin, and compliant flooring and wall finishes. You bring your own cooking equipment, fridges, freezers, and anything else specific to your menu.
Yes. Many of our members operate two or three delivery brands from the same unit, each with its own presence on the delivery apps. Your membership cost stays the same regardless of how many brands you run, so your costs stay flat while your revenue grows.
Most of our members are live on the delivery platforms within two weeks of joining. The infrastructure is already built and approved, so it’s mainly about getting your equipment in and completing your food business registration with the local authority.
You need to register your food business with the local council at least 28 days before you start trading. We can support you through the EHO registration process. If you want to sell alcohol, we can arrange a licence as an add-on at select locations.
Membership includes your kitchen space, Wi-Fi, waste management, oil and grease collection, business rates, and EHO registration support. Utilities are metered separately and billed based on your actual usage.
